Foster Lomas Architects is seeking a UK qualified architect or very experienced architect assistant (Part 2) to join its practice in London.
We have a collaborative and researched-based approach to our work so we are looking for a like-minded architect to join our studio and work on some of our exciting new commissions.
Our work is primarily private residential; including new build houses with on focus context, sustainability and materiality. We also design exhibitions and galleries for private art collections within our client’s homes.
We are looking for a great all-round architect with initiative. The successful candidate should be RIBA Part 3 qualified, preferably with at least two to three years experience, or RIBA Part 2 with at least three years experience.
As well as proven experience you will need to demonstrate:
- high quality residential/commercial project experience
- strong design development skills and thorough attention to detail
- experience managing and delivering co-ordinated detailed works package
- Microstation experience is essential
- NBS Building experience would be an advantage
- UK construction work experience
- London based and ideally available immediately
Enjoy music and film as we run our own private sharing library in the office.
Architect, working as part of a team, responsible for delivering detailed works packages from production information through to completion.
Delivery of the required design work to meet the RIBA Plan of Work Stage 3 onwards.
