Design review panel coordinator
at Frame Projects

Frame Projects is seeking a design review panel coordinator to become part of its team in London.

About Frame Projects

Frame Projects is a London-based, design focused, project management consultancy. We are leading experts in design review – providing independent expert advice to clients, design teams and planning authorities on development proposals.

We manage multi-disciplinary design review panels on behalf of six London planning authorities, and two garden towns, as well as working nationally providing design advice on infrastructure projects.

Our small team is based in a canal-side converted warehouse, on the boundary between Hackney and Islington.

You will be degree qualified, articulate, with excellent writing skills, and strong organisational skills. The ability to work well as part of a team and communicate confidently with our expert panel members is also essential.

The role will provide a good opportunity to develop your project management skills, and experience or qualifications in this would be an advantage.

The role

Working with the panel programme manager at Frame Projects, you will support the management of several design review panels. Your role will focus on coordinating meetings, liaising with planning authorities and design teams. You will also be a first point of contact for our design panel members, therefore you will need to be professional and confident in written and verbal communication.

The role requires strong programme and project management capability, proficiency in organising large meetings and events, and the ability to work with leading built environment professionals, to order to provide an excellent design review service.

Outside the core programme of design reviews, you will be involved in research, evaluation of our services, and helping to organise and host events such as annual meetings.

Key skills/experience:

  • a degree level qualification
  • highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • capacity to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to change
  • good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • graphic design skills an advantage (we use InDesign)
