Ebbsfleet Design Forum members
at Frame Projects

Frame Projects is seeking new members for the Ebbsfleet Design Forum in the UK.

Ebbsfleet Development Corporation (EDC) is inviting applications for membership of its Design Forum, which supports high standards in new developments across Ebbsfleet Garden City.

EDC aims to create a 21st century Garden City in north Kent with the delivery of 15,000 homes and up to 20,000 jobs across four distinct areas: Eastern Quarry + Ebbsfleet Green, Swanscombe Peninsula, Northfleet Riverside, and Ebbsfleet Central. Located on the banks of the Thames, only 17 minutes from King’s Cross/St Pancras, Ebbsfleet is being planned to combine the best of urban and rural living, building on the ethos and pioneering spirt of early Garden Cities and New Towns.

The Design Forum will play an important role in achieving this vision, providing independent expert advice and helping EDC to meet the commitments set out in its delivery framework for quality homes and neighbourhoods, an enterprising economy, and a connected, healthy and sustainable place.

The forum will be chaired by Prof. Sadie Morgan and include around 25 members with a wide range of skills and expertise, and applications are welcome from experts in the following areas:

  • architecture
  • landscape and public realm
  • urban design
  • inclusive design
  • transport planning/civil engineering
  • sustainable design including climate change resilience
  • heritage/townscape
  • arts and culture
  • development delivery

Applications should be addressed to Frame Projects, which manages the Design Forum to maintain the independence of its advice.
