Goldstein Heather Architecture is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

We are seeking a talented and resourceful Part 2 architectural assistant to join our busy and growing central London studio. We work on a variety of stimulating projects, including new-build, retrofit, extensions, and additions to buildings in sensitive or heritage contexts; from domestic to large-scale residential and mixed-use work. However, whatever the project type and scale, we always put high-quality design first.

Our candidate should have:

• at least one year of Part 1 experience in practice working in a UK architectural studio, but with possible one year post Part 2 experience, from a well-respected design-focused practice
• an exceptionally clear and well-presented portfolio
• demonstrate presentational clarity and rigour in graphic and written work
• excellent command of 2D CAD software; MicroStation is not essential, but a willingness to learn quickly is
• proficiency in SketchUp and V-ray
• excellent post-production editing skills to produce beautiful visuals and illustrations
• ability to work within a team, while having a degree of autonomy and excellent time management
• a working understanding of the UK planning system
• project experience between RIBA Stages 0 and 2 with latter stage experience a bonus
