HASSELL is looking for a social media specialist to join its team in Melbourne.
Are you a passionate social media professional looking to shape your career within an award-winning global design firm?
We are on the hunt for a social media specialist to take ownership of creating, growing and nurturing great social communities for HASSELL and FreeState. Working from our Melbourne studio, but with an international focus, this role requires both strategic and creative thinking to improve our digital brand experience and to support our global expansion.
Day-to-day the role will include multiple activities such as developing content strategies and calendars for our global projects and people, creating content for programs and campaigns, devising media buy strategies to reach target audiences, managing communities, monitoring content success and managing different internal stakeholder groups and approvals.
You will report to the marketing and communications manager and will collaborate with the business, heads of design and agency partners along with the wider marketing and communications team to deliver exceptional social experiences.
You’re well into your social career with four plus years’ experience under your belt in a similar role either from a professional services, creative or agency environment.
You will have completed a communications, marketing, journalism or similar degree and will have a genuine passion for developing great online communities with experience across Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter in particular.
You will need to be flexible enough to move between strategy and implementation, bringing energy to everything you do. You’re a self-motivated and impactful person with impeccable spelling and grammar, Adobe suite skills and an eye for design and photography.
Up to speed on all the latest social trends, you’re known as an ‘in-house expert’ on all things social. Ideally, you will have experience working with multiple brand accounts, influencer strategies, paid targeting and campaigns. You will naturally be skilled in managing social toolsets for listening, publishing, planning and reporting (Meltwater Engage, Sprout social, Planoly or similar).
