Project architect/design manager
at HBA Architecture
HBA Architecture is looking for a project architect/design manager to join its expanding team in London.
Our mission is to create architecture with innovative design solution of enduring quality that proudly celebrate, respect and embody the unique heritage of each community and offer valuable, sustainable and enriching visions for its future.
This role will be for a talented designer who is also management-focused.
Key responsibilities:
- organising and managing project teams, timelines and schedules
- coordinating with the client, operator and consultants to ensure documents are aligned with design intent
- providing design and technical advice and assistance to project team from concept presentation through all design and construction stages
- assisting the principal/director in BD efforts, including proposals, contracts and BD coordination
- improving team-level HR processes and resources to help maintain good working culture and staff wellness
- candidates are expected to work online with principals/directors overseas on day-to-day basis, as required
Qualifications:
- candidates with experience working in the Middle East, especially KSA, preferred
- experienced in hospitality, mixed-use and residential is a plus
- proficient English communication skills
- bachelor’s degree or above in architectural design
- at least eight years of architectural work experience in commercial/residential projects, from master planning, concept design, detail design to construction
- worked in a reputable architectural studio/company with teamwork mindset and strong design skills
- familiar with AutoCAD, office series software, InDesign, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe CS, Revit or Rhino/Grasshopper and other parametric softwares
