Role overview

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Part 2 architectural assistant or newly qualified architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work across multiple projects, with the opportunity to contribute to strategic development, innovative design, and contract administration across all RIBA Work Stages. The role spans residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors, both in the UK and internationally.

Key responsibilities:

  • contribute to the strategic growth and design vision of the practice.
    Support and manage project elements, ensuring delivery within set quality, time, and budget parameters
  • collaborate with project directors on design and technical decisions, seeking their review and approval for key deliverables
  • ensure compliance with statutory requirements, building regulations, and internal policies
  • maintain detailed project documentation and uphold the highest design standards
  • mentor junior staff, fostering an environment for professional growth

Required skills and experience:

  • ARB Part 2 or recently qualified Part 3 (or equivalent)
  • strong design, technical, and organisational skills with the ability to manage projects or project sections independently
  • proficiency in Vectorworks (2D and/or 3D) is essential
  • comprehensive understanding of UK Building Regulations, codes of practice, and statutory requirements
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously when required
