House of Grey is seeking a studio manager or PA to join its team in London.

We are seeking an experienced studio manager to be the engine of our growing interior design studio in north London and PA to our founder, Louisa Grey.

Embedded at the heart of our design studio, the House of Grey Studio Manager & PA is the engine behind our design processes and the driving force behind our business operations.

A proactive, multi-tasking, agile thinker who’s always a few steps ahead, the House of Grey studio manager enjoys a high-energy, fast-paced working environment.

The studio manager and PA role is the person who looks after the day to day running of the studio and supporting the design team, whilst also being our Founder’s right-hand – taking care of diaries, organising meetings, publicising the studio, working on business development opportunities and overseeing the production of items such as branded collateral.

Attention to detail is everything, an understanding of our philosophy and appreciation of the House of Grey aesthetic is essential, our Studio Manager needs to be embedded in the House of Grey vision and an integral part of the evolution of the design studio.

Essential skills include excellent organisational, administrative and presentation skills, as well as working knowledge of day-to-day finance and HR. The studio manager and PA is instrumental to all aspects of running the studio – communication, team/project management, recruitment, bookkeeping – utilising ‘all-rounder’ skills to facilitate the smooth running of a well-organised and fast-paced design studio.

Where you’ll work

This is an in-house, hands-on role and you will work in our luxurious, holistic work/life studio space in North London alongside our Founder and design team.

What you’ll do

The studio manager works directly with and is a supporting role to the House of Grey founder and director, Louisa Grey.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • responsible, highly organised, confident and will be able to impart previous experience in proposing solutions, planning ahead and quickly learn the specific needs of the studio and its members to keep things running smoothly on a day-to-day basis
  • a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our studio
  • a team player who’s proactive and who will complement and enhance our studio values
  • an energetic, practical candidate, a self-starter and initiative taker with a sensitive understanding of the House of Grey aesthetic
  • a proactive all-rounder with the ability to multi-task and meet the needs of a thriving design studio
