HTA Design is seeking a head of interior design to join its team in London.
HTA Design has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and inspirational head of interior design to lead and grow our talented interior design team based in London. This role requires a leader who is passionate about driving innovation, delivering award-winning projects, and shaping the future of interdisciplinary and sustainable design.
Contract: permanent
Salary: £70,000+
HTA Design LLP is an award winning multi-disciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, communications design, sustainability and planning.
As head of interior design, you will bring creative vision, strategic oversight, and operational excellence to steer the delivery of innovative interior spaces that exceed client expectations. Collaborating closely with our partners, you will play a key role in leading and mentoring a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. You will develop design strategies aligned with market trends and business goals and oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring exceptional quality and profitability.You will also build and expand our client relationships to secure new opportunities and long-term partnerships, and you will represent HTA’s Interiors team, working with the team to enhance HTA’s profile within the industry.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have:
- a degree in interior design (postgraduate preferred), with significant relevant demonstrable experience, including senior leadership roles and an extensive portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects
- experience managing, mentoring, and inspiring teams, alongside proven ability to handle complex projects and tight deadlines
- strong communication and relationship-building skills with a track record of business development and revenue growth
- exceptional design software skills (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite), a strong grasp of construction processes, and a commitment to sustainable design practices
- a high level of creativity, with the ability to deliver innovative solutions while staying ahead of industry trends
