Museum Studio is hiring a freelance VectorWorks interior designer to join its team in London.

We are looking for fluent VectorWorks interior designers for a three-month contract to develop a concept design into a tender package for several large museum projects, starting at the end of March.

Responsibilities/skills:

• develop existing concept designs and produce scheme-level drawing packages and schedules for galleries and ancillary spaces
• to be directly responsible for delivering a gallery/galleries within the museum with support from mid-weight/junior designers
• to work as part of a larger team of designers and sub-consultants
• follow the direction of the associate leading the project, ensuring integration with our drawing and 3D modelling workflows
• strong ability to follow structured processes and handle complex projects

Requirements:

• we prefer freelancers who can work in the studio but can accommodate hybrid and fully remote working
• candidates must use their own laptop and licensed software

Essential software skills:

• excellent command of VectorWorks in 2D and 3D to produce drawing packages and schedules
• Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
