Hugh Leslie Designer is seeking a CAD technician/draftsperson to join its team in London.

Seeks an experienced CAD technician to join its interior design/interior architecture team.  We are a small design firm in the heart of Chelsea working entirely on bespoke high end residential projects both in the UK and abroad.

The role consists primarily of technical drawing work of internal plans and elevations. You must be proficient with AutoCAD and familiar with all aspects of interior architecture detailing such as joinery, architectural features, technical details of kitchens and bathrooms,  elevations etc.

Responsibilities:

• preparation of technical and construction drawings, details and specifications
• coordinating with architects and contractors throughout the construction process, ensuring the successful implementation of our designs
• produce details drawings and specifications suitable for the design team to fulfil obligations in preparation of tendering and construction informatio
• preparation of specification documentation and schedules
• attendance on construction sites may sometimes be necessary

Requirements:

• minimum three years’ experience with AutoCAD working on high end residential projects
• preparation of detailed drawing packages

You must have proven experience in the following:

• AutoCAD, Photoshop and Excel proficiency are essential
• strong communication skills both verbal and written with a high standard of English
• excellent attention to detail
• ability to work independently and within a small team

Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9:30 to 5:30 with an hour for lunch.
This is strictly an office based position. Salary dependent on experience.
