Showroom manager/client experience associate

Hushoffice is seeking a showroom manager/client experience associate to join its team in London.

Hushoffice is a Polish manufacturer who specialise in designing acoustic pods.

We have 30 years of commercial furniture production experience and we are now one the key global acoustic pod brands.

We have seen unprecedented growth in the UK market in the last few years, leading to the opening of our flagship showroom in the heart of Clerkenwell.

We are looking for a candidate to assume the role of showroom manager, initially as maternity leave cover, but with a view to a more permanent role within the company.

The role is client facing and requires a confident, smart and outgoing candidate who can deliver an exceptional client experience to the many B2B visitors we regularly receive from across a variety of sectors – end users, dealerships and designers.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic, be reliable, organised and must have good visual merchandising skills. They must also possess strong admin skills as the role also entails generating multiple commercial quotes on our company system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • managing the day to day running of showroom in line with our brand standards
  • providing a premium experience for all visitors and Haworth members in the space
  • providing support for the UK BDM (and wider sales team), helping them prepare for client visits/events and covering for them when they’re not in showroom
  • generating quotes for multiple clients and regular interaction with our dealers
  • daily communication with all departments in our head office and factory in Lodz, Poland
  • serve as local “brand ambassador” to implement regional marketing activities, brand collateral, messaging
  • organising catering and setting up for meetings
  • helping to curate and plan events for the space
  • arranging for samples to be posted to clients
  • liaising with our network of trained Hush installers and our logistics dept.
  • prospecting the market to identify potential customers for Hushoffice and to provide sales team with the results of that activity
  • liaising with sales team to ensure sales opportunities are logged in ERP (IFS) and include up to date information for key customers, influencers and local media contacts
  • update showroom visits as per company’s guidelines and provide reporting to sales manager
  • inventory management: ensuring that all relevant promotional materials, samples, cleaning materials, stationery supplies, food/drink supplies are fully stocked
  • ensuring the showroom is secure at all times and employing a strict opening and closing routine
  • coordinating with cleaners and tradespeople to ensure the space is always properly cleaned and is fully functional
  • available to attend and assist at evening or breakfast events as required
  • maintaining the showroom plants
  • any other adhoc task assigned

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • candidate must be fluent in both Polish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both
  • high interpersonal skills/EQ
  • ability to multi-task with a high level of proficiency and autonomy
  • strong organisational skills
  • attention to detail
  • warm and welcoming hospitality attitude
  • diploma in business administration or marketing/design/advertising or equivalent is desired
  • experience in hospitality, event planning, marketing is preferred
  • sales support experience desirable

NB the role is strictly based in the showroom, full time, Monday to Friday.

Salary: dependant on experience.
