Jackdaw Studio is hiring a mid-weight interior designer to join its team in London.
Jackdaw Studio is seeking a talented and highly motivated mid-level interior designer to join our team.
You will have experience in all aspects of delivering projects from planning to construction detailing, have excellent communication skills, strong design and visualisation skills and an eye for detail.
Proficiency in Vectorworks, SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop is a must and you will have a minimum of three years’ experience in practice.
The role would be suited to someone who is interested in delivering innovative design, has a hands-on approach to the design process and experience across traditional and D&B. This role will require a mix of working at our studio in Bermondsey, onsite with clients and some remote/home working.
Essentials:
- minimum three years’ industry experience
- proven ability to put together technical packs for Tender
- confident with furniture schedules and FF&E
- excellent Vectorworks Skills
- strong SketchUp skills
- confident with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop
- ability to take instruction and motivated to ownership over tasks
- confident to deal directly with clients and contractors, checking and supervising works onsite
- good understanding of all work stages, construction procurement methods, UK building regulations and planning
- fluent in both spoken and written English
It would be an advantage to have:
- specific experience in workspace design
- good relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
