Jo Cowen Architects is hiring a receptionist and PA to directors to join its team in London.

We are looking for a new receptionist and PA to join our practice at the end of May. Applicants must have experience in a similar role and be able to manage an array of responsibilities.

Summary of main responsibilities:

  • complex diary management
  • acting as first point of contact for CEO and MD
  • managing contacts database
  • coordination of complex travel itineraries
  • answering phone calls and e-mails on behalf of the senior partner
  • research for the CEO and MD
  • assisting with organising social events for the office
  • assisting with reception cover
  • minute taking
  • mailboxes management
  • ad hoc tasks
  • ideal candidate


  • can act with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • must be proactive, organised, structured and detail-oriented
  • must be calm, focused and enjoy multi-tasking
  • is professional on the phone, in emails and in person
  • is a team-player
  • feels that no administrative task is too little or too great
  • has excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, both with colleagues and clients
  • has a good sense of humour

Job types: full-time, permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
