Johanna Molineus Architects is hiring a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

Johanna Molineus Architects is looking for a full-time Part 2 architectural assistant to work on a variety of private residential, conservation and mixed-use projects.

Since its foundation in 2002, Johanna Molineus Architects has become recognised for its innovative and sensitive approach to design, creating tailor-made schemes for our clients. Much of our work is within the UK but also have a range of international clients and our portfolio includes projects in the UK, France, Germany and the Middle East.

Based in the heart of Soho, you will be part of an open and dynamic environment working on a range of projects within the high-end residential and commercial sectors.  We are a creative team with a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, organising interesting site visits and team events.  At Johanna Molineus Architects you will have the opportunity to grow your experience and potentially complete your RIBA Part III qualification with the practice.

The job role includes:

  • assisting with projects throughout RIBA work stages 1-6
  • coordinating and working closely with the professional/consultant team
  • organising and preparation of client presentations and planning, tender and construction packages
  • liaising with the contractor and professional team on-site and monitoring the progress of works against the design
  • work closely with an experienced architect to support your development

The preferred candidate will:

  • be a RIBA Part 2 qualified architectural assistant
  • be proficient in Vectorworks, Revit and the Adobe suite
  • have knowledge of and interest in a sustainable approach to design and construction
  • have experience working in UK practice (ideally across all RIBA work stages)
  • have good design and detailing skills
  • have good written and verbal communication skills
  • have the ability to prioritise their work
  • have the ability to take initiative and work independently if required
  • have the right to work in the UK – unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas
