What you’ll be doing
As a senior interior designer, you’ll be at the forefront of our creative projects, leading a team and working closely with clients to turn visions into reality.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- design leadership – develop and present outstanding concepts that align with client needs
- business growth – help us refine and expand KAI Interiors through strategic development
- project and team management – oversee multiple projects, manage budgets, timelines and mentor junior designers
- client engagement – build strong relationships and confidently present design proposals
- technical excellence – lead in space planning, construction drawings, and FF&E selection
- collaboration – work with architects, contractors and engineers to bring ideas to life
- quality control – review team drawings, ensure profitability and oversee project admin
What we’re looking for
- at least six years of experience in UK hospitality interior design
- strong concept development, space planning and styling skills
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp and MS Office
- experience presenting designs to large audiences and managing clients confidently
- a natural leader – confident, adaptable, and able to mentor a team
- exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills – a people person who thrives in collaboration
Location: Hackney, London (this is an office-based role – please apply only if you’re happy with this).
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
