Job description

Role summary

The in-house marketing specialist will be responsible for managing and executing Kempa Home’s marketing strategies across multiple channels. This role requires a creative and analytical mindset to enhance our brand presence, engage with our audience and drive revenue growth through effective marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be proficient in social media management, content creation, direct mail marketing and e-commerce marketing, with a strong understanding of the interior design industry and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

Social media management:

  • develop and execute social media strategies for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest
  • create engaging content, including photos, videos, graphics and copywriting, that showcases our interior design projects, restaurant and bar experiences and home decor products
  • monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and reach
  • interact with followers, respond to comments and foster a community around our brand

Content creation:

  • produce high-quality visual and written content for social media, email campaigns and our website
  • document and share behind-the-scenes insights into our interior design projects, restaurant events and exclusive membership experiences to engage DIY enthusiasts and potential customers
  • utilize photo and video editing skills to enhance content quality

Direct mail marketing:

  • plan and execute direct mail marketing campaigns to reach potential customers
  • design and distribute mailers that effectively communicate our brand message and promotions

E-commerce marketing:

  • develop and implement marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales on our e-commerce platform
  • optimize marketing efforts for both the US and Cayman Islands markets
  • analyze e-commerce performance and adjust strategies to improve ROI

Lead generation:

  • create campaigns that capture leads and convert them into customers
  • use various marketing tactics to engage and attract DIY enthusiasts and interior design clients

Google marketing:

  • manage Google Ads and other PPC campaigns to drive targeted traffic
  • utilize SEO best practices to improve our website’s search engine ranking
  • analyze and report on the performance of Google marketing efforts

Technical skills:

  • perform basic website updates and maintenance as needed
  • ensure the technical aspects of marketing campaigns are executed flawlessly

Skills and qualifications:

  • three-plus years’ of marketing experience
  • BS/BA in marketing or a related field of study

Experience:

  • proven experience in social media management, content creation and direct mail marketing
  • demonstrated success in growing a brand and generating leads in the interior design, hospitality or related industry
  • experience with Google marketing tools and e-commerce marketing

Technical skills:

  • proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
  • strong graphic design skills
  • basic web development skills (e.g., HTML, CSS, WordPress)

Analytical skills:

  • ability to analyze marketing data and metrics to inform strategies and improve performance
  • experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)

Creativity:

  • a creative mindset with a strong eye for design and detail
  • ability to produce compelling content that resonates with our target audience

Communication:

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to write engaging copy for various marketing channels

Organizational skills:

  • strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • attention to detail and ability to work independently

Salary range: $50,000-$70,000 USD per year, depending on experience and qualifications
