Laplace is seeking an interior architect/FF&E specialist to join its team in Paris, France.

Laplace is urgently looking for a motivated, talented and ambitious young designer with a minimum of three years’ of professional experience to work in its Paris office on high-end interior residential projects.

Candidates will assist our project managers and senior architects in our high-end interior design projects and should be excellent team players.

Responsibilities:

• assist the design team with specific research requests into design items eg furniture, lighting, tiles and other materials
• work on furniture research, moodboards and presentations
• prepare furniture plans, furniture proposals
• monitor 3D visualisation relating to FF&E
• support administrative aspects of a project
• work on the digital and physical library of resources
• request samples, sort, file and price up samples
• prepare furniture, fabrics et shipping schedules
• organise and follow up of projects invoices and orders in collaboration with
• textile designer and lead operation coordinator
• keep organised digital and printed project folders and all documentation
• assisting with project installations

Employment requirements:

• EU passport or the right to work in the EU
• lives in Paris or able to relocate immediately
• fluent in English, proficient in French, Spanish would be a plus
• ready to start asap, status negotiable
• working knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office is imperative
• good understanding of VAT and basic budgeting and accounting
