Liddicoat & Goldhill has a vacancy for an architectural assistant to join its team in Margate, UK.
We are looking for a highly motivated Part 1 or 2 architectural assistant(s) to join our busy studio in Margate on the beautiful Kent coast.
We are a small, award winning design led practice mainly specialising in private residential projects. The role is to work with the team on a range of projects at various stages. Specifically we have a listed ‘party’ barn for a pair of actors in Sussex, a new build stone house in the Cotswolds, an art gallery warehouse extension and a facade retention scheme in Notting Hill all moving into the tender stage. We also have a growing interiors team who we work alongside to delivery the complete turn key package.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- interest and understanding of residential projects
- basic understanding of residential planning policy and regulations and standards in the UK
- some experience and skill working with CAD and modelling software. We use Vectorworks, Rhino and Enscape
- a high level of design awareness and interest, demonstrated through a portfolio of projects
- clarity and confidence in communication; in writing, drawing, on screen and in person
- relevant work permits and must already be living in the UK at the time of application

This vacancy is offered on a full time, permanent basis in our Margate studio. We are open to discussions on flexible / part time working.
