Lina Ghotmeh—Architecture is seeking a senior architect to join its team in London.

Lina Ghotmeh — Architecture is an international, award-winning design and research practice based in Paris. Our multidisciplinary team of professionals works across a wide range of scales and locations (France, Japan, UK, KSA, etc.), united by our guiding concept: ”archeology of the future.”

From the low-carbon, energy-positive Hermès Manufacture in France to the renovation of the British Museum and the Qatar Pavilion in Venice, our work is rooted in innovation, sustainability, and cultural relevance.

We are currently seeking a senior architect to join our growing team in London. This position will report to the project directors and play a key leadership role in our new London studio.

Role overview

As senior architect, you will:

•  lead and develop the design of a cultural project
• act as a key liaison with the team and local partners
• coordinate with our internal team and report directly to project directors

What we’re looking for:

• minimum ten years’ of professional experience, including significant contributions to built, large-scale international projects or exceptional smaller-scale works
• deep knowledge of UK construction processes and the RIBA Plan of Work
• strong understanding of UK planning regulations, building control, and environmental standards
• proven ability to coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants
• excellent communication, design, organizational, and budget management skills
• excellent aesthetic judgment and graphic communication abilities
• highly technical with a creative approach to architectural problem-solving, supported by detailed construction and shop drawings
• experience with heritage and listed buildings is highly desirable
• strong coordination and team collaboration skills
• in-depth knowledge of construction methods, products, and materials
• proactive, self-motivated, and able to both mentor others and grow within the team
• skilled at identifying project risks and resolving conflicts
• demonstrable experience delivering complex projects in Revit, aligned with the UK BIM framework and high knowledge of Revit software
• fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in French is a strong asset
• must have the right to work in the UK
