Middleweight interior designer

Lindi Reynolds & Co. is seeking a middleweight interior designer to join its team in South West London.
We deliver luxury architectural interior design projects throughout the UK, but primarily in London and Surrey. Our specialist capability is to take new build residential or period property renovations from conception through to final handover; delivering at every stage, a positive project experience for our wonderful clients.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic architectural interior designer with at least four years of high-end experience to join us. The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience in kitchen, bathroom and FF&E design.
You will be a team player, capable of working both collaboratively and independently across multiple projects. Reporting directly to the Design Director you will develop design concepts as well as construction details and full drawing packages including floorplans, lighting plans, detailed elevations and bespoke furniture designs.
You will be passionate about all elements of interior design with a keen eye for detail and capable of managing your own projects from conception to completion including scheduling and project management.
Solid competency in the following areas is essential:
- proficient computer skills in software packages including Vectorworks, SketchUp, Photoshop and Estimac
- Microsoft and Apple suite proficiency
- excellent presentational and communication skills are crucial for team, client and contractor communications
- an active interest in fine art
- an active interest in furniture design and manufacture
- a keen understanding of how AI can assist and enhance our workspace without diminishing from the human touch which is so essential in what we do
Responsibilities:
- assisting the Creative Director on a daily basis across all areas
- design concepts development
- prepare presentations for clients
- design detailing and fine tuning with relation to all FF&E specification
- client communications
- supplier communications
- drawing up of Schedules and specifications
- estimation and project tracking through Estimac
- critical path creation and update
- maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in architectural interior design with at least four years’ of experience in high end residential architectural interior design
- strong creative and communication skills
- demonstrated ability to complete on projects and grow the scope
Clean UK drivers licence.
Location
The position will be office based in our East Molesey studio with site visits to projects around the UK (but primarily London and Surrey).
