Lore Group is seeking a FF&E coordinator on a six-month fixed-term contract to join its team in London.

An opportunity to join Lore Group’s design team and gain practical experience in hospitality design and FF&E coordination. Lore Group’s in-house design studio uncovers and brings to life the stories of our hotels. We are looking to hire a FF&E coordinator to join our design team and focus on a hotel renovation in London. The FF&E coordinator will provide essential support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation project and assisting with various design-related tasks. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The FF&E coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining the FF&E organisation and contributing to the overall success of our design projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • designing and coordinating FF&E, from concept through to finished details
  • liaise with design team to integrate FF&E selections seamlessly into the overall design and construction schedule
  • overseeing the installation of FF&E
  • maintain comprehensive FF&E schedules, tracking the status of orders, deliveries, and installations to ensure alignment with project timelines
  • address any discrepancies, delays, or issues related to FF&E procurement and installation, implementing proactive solutions to mitigate risks and maintain project momentum
  • conduct thorough inspections of FF&E items upon delivery to verify compliance with specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
  • reviewing, commenting and approving prototypes and samples
  • uphold the integrity of the brand by ensuring that all FF&E elements contribute to the desired aesthetic, functionality and guest experience
  • sourcing vintage items and antiques
  • working with a wider team in spatial planning and design
  • cultivate and maintain positive relationships with FF&E suppliers, manufacturers and vendors, fostering collaboration
  • producing presentations using Adobe InDesign
  • filing and recording all project documentation and creating specification books.
  • taking ownership of smaller design projects and supporting the team with larger developments
  • assisting the Lore Group Design team with additional daily tasks

Professional/personal qualifications


  • bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in interior design

Skills and knowledge:

  • experience in AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • experience in Photoshop/InDesign
  • experience in Excel
  • ability to lead document creation and management
  • strong knowledge of FF&E specifications, materials, finishes and procurement processes
  • excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • proficiency in project management tools, MS Office suite and FF&E-related software applications
  • familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices governing FF&E selection, procurement and installation
