Senior interior designer
at Lowell
Lowell is seeking a senior interior designer to join its team in London.
Lowell is a design focused architecture, interiors and build practice specialising in high end residential properties in central London.Â
This is a new exciting role to further develop our interiors offering for our central London client base and is therefore a great opportunity for someone to come in and make the role their own.Â
In addition to the architectural team Lowell also has its own in house artisan build team that brings our designs to life, so this role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with the build team on all projects.
We are a busy and vibrant practice and have recently been nominated for the British Home Awards and the NLA Don’t Move Improve Awards.
The role and responsibilities:
- to develop interior schemes for our clients
- preparing mood boards and presentations for clients
- sourcing and procuring FF&E
- working closely with our in-house architects, build team and subcontractors
- coordinate contractors, suppliers, and services to ensure timely delivery of projects
- design of bespoke furniture and lighting
- develop detailed specifications and schedules
- budget creation and management
Key skills the candidate shall have:
- five years experience of delivering high-end residential FF&E packages from concept through to completion
- excellent knowledge of suppliersÂ
- an exceptional eye for detail, colour and materials
- highly organised and efficient
- proficient in Vector works, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite
- excellent verbal and written communications are also essential, as you will be liaising between multiple parties, including clients, sub-contractors and architects
