Role overview
We are looking for a qualified Architect with strong technical skills, including proficiency in Revit and experience in project delivery. This role is ideal for someone with approximately 1-3 years of post-Part 3 experience working on technical and construction stages of architectural projects. Key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- design development: help develop design solutions and coordinate with design team members to support project deliverables
- project coordination: plan and coordinate with colleagues to ensure the design scope, technical tasks, deliverables, and project timelines are met
- client and stakeholder collaboration: engage with clients, consultants, and contractors to help deliver the project
- technical delivery: contribute to producing detailed design and technical documentation, ensuring all work meets UK Building Regulations and British Standards
- construction support: attend construction site visits, review subcontractor drawings, and assist in creating site observation reports and design clarifications
- design implementation: interpret design concepts and assist with their translation into practical construction details and documentation
Essential skills
To excel in this role, you will need:
- a degree in architecture and approximately one to three years of post-Part 3 UK experience
- experience with large or complex buildings; residential refurbishment experience is desirable
- experience working closely with Building Contractors through the construction phase
- familiarity with the residential sector and experience with RIBA Stages 4 and 5
- proficiency in Revit for producing accurate technical drawings
- strong written, graphic, and verbal communication skills
- experience working collaboratively within a project team
- knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite
