In light of this growth, we are seeking a bid manager to join us in London.
Responsibilities:
- review tender documentation and lead the development of tender    proposals
- research to understand project scope, objectives and constraints
- create a detailed list of clarifications, exclusions and compliance on a per-project basis
- coordinate with the project managers to incorporate their input into the proposal
- organise and compile all required documents for tender submission
- support cost and price calculation – checking alignment with the tender’s requests
- ensure that tender submissions meet deadlines and comply with tendering guidelines
- maintain accurate records of tender activities, communication and documentation
Candidate profile:
- strong understanding of architectural principles and project management concepts
- significant previous experience in architectural tendering
- knowledge of the architectural industry’s standards and practices
- strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- strong writing skills, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- ability to multi-task – communicating with multiple stakeholders and working on different tasks within competing deadlines
- fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in English
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and InDesign
- bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering field (preferred but not a necessity)
