Materialist
at Material Source Studio
Material Source Studio is looking for a materialist to join its team in London.
If you want to make your mark and join a super creative team, we’re excited to meet you.
Material Source is a ‘beautifully useful’ space for the entire architecture, interior design, and property community. Inspirational and useful in equal measure, we have fast built a reputation as a world-class destination with Studios in both Manchester and Glasgow.
At our London studio, opening this summer, we are seeking a creative, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. A background in creative education is desired, along with a deep understanding of, and enthusiasm for the design sector we serve.
The role
You will be passionate about supporting our community of Partners (brands) and Members (architects, designers and property professionals), working alongside our wider team to deliver an outstanding, seamless experience for all Material Source Studio visitors.
Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- supporting our studio partners with updating their PODs with new materials and product updates
- playing an integral role in ensuring the curation of the studio – led by our creative director – is in line with our beautifully useful mantra
- gaining a thorough knowledge of the Studio and our Partners, and be confident in leading tours for architects and interior designers to enhance their guest experience
- assisting administration team with event/room bookings, the smooth running of seminars and roundtables, and partner and member visits
- feeding into the day-to-day operations of the Studio alongside a close-knit team, maintaining high levels of Studio housekeeping across the board
Client liaison is key to this role, managing and maintaining relationships with our members and partners to ensure their needs and expectations are met, while efficiently resolving any issues that may arise.
Though you may not have all of the above experience, a strong work ethic is essential. The rest we can learn as we grow. The question we ask you to consider is: do you want to make a positive difference? If the answer is yes, please get in touch.
