With new hires on the way, the studio now seeks a hands-on and proactive studio manager. This individual should possess exceptional multitasking abilities, organisational skills, and outstanding communication capabilities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the studio in this diverse role. Proficiency in graphic design is also essential.
As a multifaceted role, you will work closely with the Director to oversee PR / marketing, human resources, finance, project administration, and new business development. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth operation of the studio, preparing marketing materials, assisting with social media management, and researching leads and events. You will also conduct staff appraisals, arrange team outings and training sessions, and coordinate with Finance, PR and IT consultants. Additionally, you will manage the Director’s diary and assist with meeting and travel arrangements.
This is an integral and central role to the studio with lots of scope for progression on offer as the company grows.
Skills and experience
Ideally you will have experience in a similar fast paced working environment, although a warm personality, enjoyment of responsibility and a willingness to progress further with this role is highly desirable.
The candidate will have prior experience in office administration and management at a small/medium-sized professional services business (ideally within the architecture or design sector).
Required:
- financial literacy, including budgeting and invoicing
- excellent proficiency in spoken and written English
- relevant professional experience in office administration and/or management
- fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and proficiency in Adobe InDesign
- strong skills in prioritisation, communication, and organisation
conscientious with meticulous attention to detail - exemplary skills in time management
- ability to handle multiple tasks and work against tight deadlines
- demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and learning
Desired:
- copywriting skills and the ability to convey ideas succinctly
- degree or qualification in a relevant creative or business field
- ambition and capability to support a growing studio
