Michael Kendrick Architects is hiring an architectural assistant to join its team in Warwickshire, UK.
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates with a flair for creativity. The role will involve working collaboratively within a small team on a range of high-end residential projects across all RIBA work stages, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to take an active role in all aspects of the studio and to embrace a variety of roles and responsibilities within the practice. Typical tasks and responsibilities will include developing concept design proposals, client engagement, the preparation of material for planning and building control submission, the production of technical drawings for tender/construction and overseeing projects on site, including site visits.
We are keen to meet candidates with:
- self-motivation and enthusiasm
- excellent design and problem-solving skills
- good organisation and presentation skills
- strong communication skills
- proficiency in CAD, preferably Vectorworks
- familiarity with 3D modelling software, such as SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Cloud
The salary is commensurate with experience and flexible working will be considered.
All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.

The practice was established in 2018 with contemporary design, creativity and sustainability as its core values.
