ML Projects is seeking an architectural technologist/technician to join its team in London.

ML Projects are looking for an architectural technologist/technician with strong technical experience to join their practice in London. You will be working on a range of Luxury and High-Street Retail projects and high-end commercial buildings.

Key responsibilities:

  • coordinating, planning and managing the development of the construction design pack
  • applying building science and technology to architectural and construction projects
  • developing and advising on innovative solutions
  • managing and co-ordinating the detailed design process, specification and materials selection
  • producing documentation for statutory approvals
  • preparing production information
  • ensuring compliance with requirements
  • undertaking inspections

Skills, knowledge and expertise:

  • a CIAT accredited honours degree or equivalent in architectural technology, or alternatively, an equivalent honours degree in a built environment subject
  • minimum three years’ experience in a similar role
  • an interest in detailing
  • experience in AutoCAD or equivalent and fluency in Microsoft packages
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • the ability to communicate successfully with stakeholders in the project
  • strong design and drawing skills
  • a proactive and enthusiastic attitude, and a willingness to contribute to wider practice groups and activities
