Mole Architects is seeking a fully qualified architect to join its studio in Cambridge, UK.
We are an award-winning practice who work on a wide range of projects, ranging from one-off single-family dwellings to community lead housing and co-housing development. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic architect to design and lead projects through all RIBA work stages.
Requirements:
- a minimum of three years’ working in private practice within the UK
- experience managing projects through all RIBA work stages
- high level of experience in construction technical detailing and documentation and specification writing
- advanced understanding of building regulations
- ability to demonstrate an understanding of on-site construction, a knowledge of procurement routes and the ability to direct and work within a larger team
- experience of construction drawing packages
- confident working with large consultant teams
- ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- capable of working on complex residential schemes and a working knowledge of UK housing standards
- on-site experience working on design and build and traditional procurement routes
- an eye for detail
- able to lead a team
- excellent time management skills
Skills and software required:
- 3D CAD experience (preferably Vectorworks)
- NBS Specification tool
- Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
- 3D visualisation (preferably Trimble SketchUp with Enscape or Vray)
- excellent written and spoken English

Salary: depending on experience
