MWD architects + makers is looking for an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in South Wales.
MWD architects + makers
MWD is an award-winning architectural practice specialising in low impact architecture and regenerative design. The successful candidate can expect to work on all RIBA stages, on a range of exciting projects from master planning to bespoke houses, listed buildings and small-scale commercial. We strive to create a friendly and collaborative environment where staff are encouraged to take part in design workshops and weekly project meetings as well as assume ownership of individual projects.
Led by Mark Waghorn, an award-winning architect and champion of environmental design, we strive to deliver high quality environments that use available resources responsibly for the benefit of future generations. Skills required:
- good working knowledge of ArchiCAD
- a minimum of one year of experience in an architectural practice
- an understanding of UK Building Regulations
- proven experience in residential led design at RIBA stages 1 to 4
Desirable Skills:
- knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop
- knowledge of rendering software; D5, Twinmotion etc.
- knowledge of the use of environmentally considered materials and technologies
