Name Architects is a London-based architectural studio specialising in high-quality private residential projects, from home extensions to new-build houses. We are dedicated to thoughtful, well-crafted design that enhances the lives of our clients, combining creative vision with a deep understanding of place and context.
We are looking for a talented experienced Part 1 or Part 2 architectural assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and have a keen eye for detail, with experience across all RIBA stages of small to medium-scale projects.

Role and responsibilities:
- assist in the development of design proposals from initial concept through to completion
- produce high-quality drawings and presentations
- support the project team across all RIBA stages, with a focus on concept design, planning, and technical detailing
- participate in client meetings and site visits, contributing to the ongoing development and coordination of projects
- collaborate with contractors and consultants, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the project
- help manage project timelines and contribute to delivering projects on time and within budget
- preparation of project documentation and submissions
Essential requirements:
- eligibility to legally work in the UK (we are unable to sponsor visas)
- minimum one year of experience in a UK-based architectural practice
- proficiency in Vectorworks 2D
- strong design and presentation skills
- excellent written and spoken English
- sxperience across all RIBA work stages
- proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and
- Microsoft Office
- ability to manage time efficiently and work with precision and attention to detail
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Vectorworks 3D or Archicad experience
- additional work experience will be an advantage
- CGI image generation skills is an advantage
- a proactive and adaptable approach, with a willingness to take on responsibility
