Junior interior architect

Nebihe Cihan Studio is hiring a junior interior architect to join its London studio.
This role will take responsibility for assisting the project’s development through each design phase, from the concept to completion during its partnership with the studio. You will play a key part in the project team supporting the needs and requirements of the creative director. Candidate must have great knowledge of AutoCAD as one of the main responsibilities will be designing and drafting tender packages using AutoCAD.
Main tasks and responsibilities include the following:
- producing furniture layouts based on clients’ needs
- producing design drawings and tender packages using AutoCAD
- reviewing joinery drawings
- producing 3D models using Sketch Up/3D s Max for design intent
- designing bespoke furniture and producing detailed furniture drawings for pricing
- producing client presentations using Adobe InDesign
- managing project budgets
- communicating closely with external consultants: contractors, lighting designers, landscape designers and local architects
- attending client and site meetings when required
Qualifications:
- must have a graduate degree in interior architecture or architecture
- must have a minimum of two years experience in high-end residential interiors in a similar role
- must have excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe InDesign, SketchUp/ 3ds Max or knowledge of any rendering software
- must be a team player and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication skills
- positive attitude
- must have excellent written and spoken English
- must have legal rights to work in the UK and able to start immediately
