Nebihe Cihan Studio is seeking a senior procurement officer to join its team in London, UK.

Please note that this is not a remote position, the candidate is expected to work from the company’s Chelsea Studio.
Main responsibilities:
- work closely with the design team on sourcing FF&E items for projects
- order for projects, including furniture, fabrics, equipment, lighting, bespoke items and soft furnishings
- finalise purchase details of orders and deliveries and gather lead times and share confirmations with the design team
- coordinate all deliveries and logistics
handle all paperwork for import and export operations - receive, issue and track invoices
- communicate, negotiate and form relationships with suppliers
- find new suppliers and organise monthly new supplier presentations
- track deliveries into the warehouse and to project sites and complete checks
- do quality checks for deliveries
- respond to maintenance requests
- re-specify items which are out of stock or on a long lead time
- produce budgets, reports and project schedules
- keep budget on track
- ensure everything is compliant with regulations
Skills and experience:
- must have excellent communication and negotiation skills
- must have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- must be flexible and able to multitask
- must be a self-starter and able to take responsibility
- must have the ability to build effective professional relationships with the team, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- must be a driven, organised and motivated team player in a fast-paced team
- must have a high proficiency in Microsoft Office
Requirements:
- an undergraduate or graduate degree
- minimum of 12 years of professional experience working in the supply chain of the construction industry
- proven professional experience in supplier negotiations and procurement of building materials and construction products
- proven professional experience in international trade with a focus on managing export processes, logistics coordination and documentation
- fluent in Turkish and English, French speaking is a plus
