Neutral Projects has an opportunity for an experienced Part 2 or newly qualified architect to join its team in London.
We are seeking an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant or newly qualified architect to join us on a freelance basis starting in the new year. This role offers the potential for future employment, depending on workload and the successful candidate’s interest.
The successful candidate will initially work on an exciting residential project – a grade II listed terrace house – taking it from planning through to tender.
Key responsibilities will include:
- liaising with clients
- developing outline drawings into detailed designs in collaboration with the practice director
- preparing presentation materials for client feedback
- producing tender packages, including drawings, construction details and a schedule of works
We are looking for someone with the following attributes, skills and experience:
- hardworking and ambitious, with the ability to work independently
- experience in the high-end residential sector
- thoughtful, collaborative and receptive to design guidance
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong visual presentation abilities with a keen eye for detail
- knowledge and experience in construction detailing
- proficiency in CAD software (of your choice)
- proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
Candidates must have their own equipment, including CAD software and SketchUp. Access to the Adobe Suite can be arranged if required.
