New London Architecture (NLA) has an opportunity for a partnership coordinator to join its team in London.

Partnerships coordinator

Salary: £26,000-28,000 depending on experience

Contract: full time, 40 hours per week

Our activities are broad-ranging and include research, publications, events, exhibitions, tours, learning programmes, websites and social media platforms, awards and competitions, the world’s largest architecture festival and public galleries that feature large interactive scale models of London.

The role

NLA is looking for a Partnerships Coordinator to support the Head of Partnerships and Head of Content with the delivery of Opportunity London, a new campaign to promote long term, sustainable investment into London’s boroughs and communities and the programme relating to the London Boroughs.

Reports to: head of partnerships

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • assist with planning and delivery of events related to Opportunity London and Borough activities including speaker invitations and management, copy writing and post-event follow-up
  • researching topics and developing programme content. Leading the NLA Borough’s programme and content including borough briefings
  • joining head of partnerships for partner and stakeholder meetings. Minuting meetings and circulating actions, ensuring actions are followed up and completed and meetings logged on Hubspot
  • working with the marketing and design team to ensure website, mailers, exhibition content and social are all up-to-date for events and that events are promoted in a timely manner and that sponsors and partners are represented accurately. Joining weekly programme meetings and working with the Head of Content on any Borough related work
  • liaising with London Borough contacts and Stakeholders at key times of the year for Opportunity London website updates
  • assisting the events team to deliver the events programme – including preparation, front of house support and post-event analysis
  • administrative and diary support for the head of partnerships

What we are looking for

You will be a self-starter with an interest in the key issues influencing London’s development and investment industries, as well as in London and its built environment more generally. You will share our team’s core values by always being informed, rigorous, collaborative and responsive in everything you do.

Essential skills and experience:

  • good interpersonal/communication skills and telephone manner and excellent standard of English
  • enthusiasm and a willingness to undertake other tasks and learn new skills
  • precision, great attention to detail and exceptional communication and time management skills. Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) InDesign or PhotoShop are a bonus but not essential – experience using a Mac an advantage

Desirable skills and experience:

  • interest in architecture, planning and design in London and related policy and regulations
  • some experience of using a CRM system is desirable but Hubspot training will be given

Many of NLA’s events are hosted in the early mornings or into the evenings, so the ability to be flexible around early starts and late finishes is essential.
