Role description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an architectural designer at ODA’s London office, located in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have three to five years’ experience and will be responsible for various architectural design and planning tasks. These include producing drawings, architectural designs, 3D modelling, visualizations, documentation and presentations. Collaboration with teams across our New York and London offices is essential to deliver innovative and socially responsible design services.
A valid UK working permit is required.
Qualifications:
- proficiency in architectural design, construction drawings and architectural design processes
- strong drawing skills and keen attention to detail
- excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- strong communication and presentation skills
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field
Essential software skills:
- Rhino
- Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- CAD
- Revit
- one of the following real-time rendering software: Twinmotion, Enscape, Lumion
Advantageous software knowledge:
- Grasshopper
- Unreal Engine
- Houdini FX
- Blender
- Adobe After Effects
