On has a vacancy for a retail production manager to join its team in Zurich, Switzerland.
At a glance
We are looking for a retail production manager to join our brand experience team in Zurich. In this role you’ll materialise On’s in store campaigns and brand tools throughout our retail channels and event platforms. Working closely together with our internal retail design team and a network of production vendors, you will be a key driver in managing the process of creating and producing engaging brand experiences that will excite and surprise On’s audiences.
Your team
You’ll be part of a brand experience team consisting of designers, architects, design engineers and visual merchandisers taking care of topics related to our own retail and trade marketing at On. Working with key stakeholders within our campaign and brand design team, our goal is to create a premium consumer experience across all touchpoints.
Your mission:
- set the timeline and manage the realisation of storytelling-, event tools and in store campaigns from ideation to roll-out
- develop and monitor production quality of installations and tools
partner with production vendors to ensure designs are produced to maintain standards, considering that design drafts may require revision to cope with production challenges - responsible to develop production prototypes ensuring high quality material fabrication and craftsmanship/production method choices
- collaborate to present prototypes for approvals along the project timeline
- direct, motivate and coach regional production teams
- create strong relationships, processes and communication flows with the regional counterparts, several key stakeholders, key agencies and production vendors
- support in expanding a broader network of suppliers globally
- negotiate in the best interest of On the production cost within the framework of the allocated budget. Budget updating and management of the contract and payment following the company policy and procedures
- planning and management of working schedule before and during setup of all parties
- close collaboration with indirect procurement and logistics to ensure availability of brand tools and timely deliveries
- provide valuable feedback and support to designers to develop extraordinary campaigns and brand tools
Your story:
- strong project management, interpersonal and communications skills and a passion to drive teams
- three to five years of working experience in a related field
- degree in design management, product design or related creative and technical field as well as working experience in project management of 3D design projects
- solid knowhow of materials and in-depth interest for production processes
- performance-oriented approach, passionate about exceeding corporate goals and willingness to go the extra mile in the daily work
- experience in fast-paced projects with the ability to manage consistently tight deadlines, multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
- network of suppliers is a plus
- strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to share ideas and make them grow
