Parti is seeking a creative interior designer/interior architect to join its team in London.
Parti are an award-winning, London-based design studio delivering a range of projects including innovative hospitality buildings; restaurants; institutional buildings; and country houses; as well as products and furniture. Parti specialise in thoughtful and creative designs, developed using an explorative approach. For many years, Parti has specialised in predominantly architecture. More recently, we are working on architecture, interior design and product design.
Parti is looking for an interior architect/interior designer to join its dynamic, and fast-paced, team. We are looking for someone to work on a number of projects (large country houses and hospitality projects). The successful candidate will jump between a number of projects working on the interior architecture of spaces, alongside the architecture team, and work on furniture design and specification as part of a growing interiors team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the design of projects, whilst also liaising with consultants, suppliers and attending site meetings. Experience level tbc – either someone more experienced that could lead the interior side of the practice, or someone more junior that could assist the current team. The candidate will need to have strong design skills, work fluently in 2D and 3D, and be able to work in an efficient and organised manner.
We are currently working on a number of playful renovations of remarkable buildings across the UK for hospitality company, ARC (www.arc.club). These include; an old sheep farm in the Lake District; a water tower in Suffolk; an old church hall in Norfolk and a post office in the Peak District. Additionally, we are working on a range of new-builds including; 10 large houses in Somerset; and a hospitality scheme within a disused limestone quarry.
Requirements include:
- excellent design skills and attention to detail
- excellent organisational skills and time management
- excellent communication skills with good writing ability
- excellent image making, 3D modelling and drafting skills (Rhino and auto-cad preferred)
