Paul Bradley, based in coastal Suffolk, provides sensitive design solutions for conservation and new build projects.
They are a versatile office with commissions throughout the UK, and their governing principles include a tailored response to client and site, and a belief that material use and detailing should be carefully considered and implemented.
The job
You will work as part of a creative team compromising of the business owner and assistants, on a range of projects across the UK. You will take the lead on projects and contribute to others, as well as mentoring our talented assistants towards qualification. You will have a keen and honed eye with a passion for high quality detailing. Excellent organisational skills are essential, and you must be confident securing new commissions.
What you’ll need:
- a qualified architect with a strong interest in historic buildings, conservation, traditional new design and sustainable architecture, with exceptional design and detailing experience
- you will be experienced in delivering high quality domestic projects, possess strong construction knowledge and a passion for traditional detailing
- we would also consider applications from suitably experienced chartered architectural technologists
Where you’ll be based
The office is based in the coastal town of Southwold, Suffolk. The role is 100 per cent office based and does not offer hybrid working.
What you’ll receive:
- £40,000 – £45,000 per annum dependent on experience
- working full time (37.5hrs per week), Monday to Friday, office based only
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
- a truly collaborative and creative working environment, contributing to and leading a diverse range of domestic commissions
