PenwardenHale is seeking a project/lead architect to join its team in Oxford, UK.

PenwardenHale, based in Oxford, have an exciting opportunity for a project/lead architect, ideally proficient in ArchiCAD and with experience in a range of sectors, particularly education, commercial and residential.

Qualities and skills required:

• a fully qualified architect (ARB registered) with at least five years’ post-Part 3 experience
• able to demonstrate exceptional technical and building regulations knowledge
• experienced in working directly with clients and other consultants
• capable of managing complex projects on site, including contract administration
• understand the principal designer (BR) role and responsibilities
• able to write specifications
• lead a design team and manage the delivery of projects from concept to completion
• a good communicator with fluent written and spoken English
• experience of Adobe, 3D modelling and NBS Spec would be an advantage
