Peter Mikic Studio is seeking a mid-weight interior designer to join its team in London.

Overview

At Peter Mikic Studio, we pride ourselves on creating exceptional, innovative designs that captivate and inspire. We are looking for a talented mid-weight interior designer to join our dynamic team in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design, a keen eye for detail and the ability to bring innovative ideas to life.

Key responsibilities:

  • collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences and budget constraints
  • develop design concepts and presentations using Adobe Creative Suite
  • utilise AutoCAD and SketchUp to create detailed drawings and models
  • manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • select and specify furniture, fixtures, materials and finishes to enhance spaces
  • coordinate with architects, contractors and suppliers to realise design visions
  • conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications

Requirements:

  • proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • strong knowledge of building regulations and construction methods
  • creative flair combined with a practical approach to problem-solving
  • outstanding communication skills for effective client and stakeholder interaction

You will be able to hit the ground running and be confident working both individually and with others. You’ll be patient, friendly and exceptionally well-organised. We’re looking for someone who will, alongside the day-to-day tasks, really engage with the team and play their part in ensuring the studio environment is a great place for us all to be.
