Peter Mikic Studio is seeking a talented and enthusiastic mid-weight interior designer to join our dynamic team.

Our studio specialises in high-end interior design across luxury private residences, yachts, hotels, bars and restaurants, delivering exceptional projects both locally and internationally. We are a vibrant collective of architects and interior designers who take pride in fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.

The role and responsibilities:

• collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences and budget
• develop compelling design concepts and presentations using Adobe Creative Suite
• develop concept design, spatial planning and schedules
• create detailed technical drawings and 3D models, including plans, power, RCP and joinery pieces
• oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
• curate and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that elevate each space
• coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to bring designs to life
• conduct site visits to ensure design integrity and quality execution
• assist in managing junior designers, reviewing their work, and providing guidance

What we’re looking for:

• proven experience in interior design, or architecture, backed by a strong portfolio
• strong technical knowledge of joinery, detailing, and materials
• technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• a deep understanding of building regulations and construction methods
• a creative yet practical mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills
• exceptional communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with clients and management
