The position
Platform 5 Architects is looking for a creative, problem-solving Part 2 architectural assistant or recently qualified project architect to join our studio based in Shoreditch, east London.

We are currently working on several riverside and countryside new-build homes at various work stages, along with mixed-use residential-led developments. Take a look at The Highway and Park House on our website to get an idea of our current works in progress.

The role
This is an exciting opportunity for you to gain a breadth of experience across all the RIBA work stages, have creative input and grow with the practice.
Please note that for candidates looking to study for their Part 3, we can provide the time, mentoring and suitable case-study projects that you will need, and you will have the opportunity to gain on-site experience with construction under traditional contracts.
Qualifications and skills – what you bring to the team:
- qualified Part 2 architectural assistant or recently qualified project architect
- the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- be proactive and show initiative
- strong design and representation skills
- the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- good working knowledge of building regulations and London plan housing policy
- good organisational skills with experience in working to tight deadlines
- experience of working in Revit desirable
How we will work together:
- we are a small practice and work closely together on all of our projects, creating a collaborative and friendly environment
- we provide a flexible work environment and are currently blending studio time in our Shoreditch office, together with the option to work remotely one to two days a week (Mondays and Fridays)
- our office is located in the Brickfields Workspace, which provides the team with an on-site cafe, cycle storage and showers
- 20 days holiday plus public holidays, plus one added day per year up to 25 days
- regular team social events
