PLP Architecture is seeking a bid assistant to join its team in London.
PLP Architecture is a London-based group of architects, designers and thinkers who value the transformative role of ideas and the capacity for architecture to inspire. PLP has created some of the world’s smartest and most sustainable buildings that have redefined what it means to live and work in today’s cities. The practice’s in-house think tank, PLP Labs, is a research collaborative that develops concepts and technologies aimed at the future development of urban living.
PLP is currently designing projects across three continents and has buildings under construction in the UK, The Netherlands, Italy, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, India, Singapore and Japan. Notable work in a diverse portfolio includes 22 Bishopsgate, Sky Central and Bankside Yards in London, Tree House and The Edge in Amsterdam and Corso Como Place in Milan.
PLP Architecture is looking for an experienced bid assistant to support the bid coordinator for their London studio and to support on new business for the UK and internationally.
Key skills and experience:
- experience in preparing and coordinating bid submissions (six months minimum)
- an understanding of the design and procurement process and a knowledge of contractual matters would be an advantage
- is self-disciplined, entrepreneurial and confident in a creative environment and can work independently as well as part of a team
- excellent communication and organisation skills, as well as a talent for writing concisely and clearly
- excellent attention to detail and a thorough approach
- keen to learn with a flexible attitude, able to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines
- has strong organisational, administrative and document production skills
- good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign
This is a full-time permanent position with benefits, based in our London office. All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.
