POD Architects is seeking a studio manager to join its team in London.

POD Architects are looking for a studio manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our creative architectural studio in central London, supporting both business functions and our friendly growing team.

We are looking for a graduate who is an organised and proactive individual to take on this diverse and dynamic role. The role involves a range of tasks supporting the directors and wider team, including financial and office administration.

Key responsibilities:

  • office administration – manage office supplies, answering the phone, maintenance, and be the first point of contact for IT issues, and liaise with external IT for support on larger issues
  • business and finance support – oversee cash flow forecasts, invoicing, payment tracking, and client fee records
  • accounting and payroll liaison – coordinating documents for payroll, VAT, accounts
  • HR and staff management – maintain staff files, oversee new starter inductions, health and safety, fire training, annual leave, and CPD training organisation
  • recruitment and PA duties – support hiring processes, travel arrangements, and general administrative tasks
  • technical support and document management – manage software, update key documents, liaise on contracts and insurance matters
  • ISO audit preparation
  • meeting/visitor coordination and greeting visitors, also organising team events/socials
  • marketing and communications – support marketing content creation, website updates, and document maintenance
  • assisting with procurement/bid documents when necessary

Skills and experience:

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), with Adobe experience preferred
  • strong organisational skills and ability to multitask across varied responsibilities
  • good communication and problem-solving abilities, and proactive in finding solutions
  • experience in business administration, HR, finance, or studio management is an advantage
