Porta Romana is looking for a brand ambassador to join its team in London and the Home Counties, UK.
Porta Romana is a British brand based in Farnham, Surrey, synonymous with luxury lighting and furniture destined for the world’s most beautiful interiors.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our London team for an exceptional individual with a keen interest in interior design. Joining our outstanding team of brand ambassadors, you would be the face of our brand and work within one of our most important markets.
What you’ll do:
Build, develop and nurture personal relationships with both our existing and potential customer base of interior designers with a view to increasing customer activity and turnover.
Undertake customer visits, introducing the brand, presenting new collections and communicating key messages from Porta Romana throughout the year along with attending key events to showcase our products. The role requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of the artistry, craftsmanship and sophisticated making techniques that are the hallmarks of our collections.
What you’ll need:
- a keen interest in interior design
- to be educated to graduate level or equivalent
- a passion for working with people
- to conduct yourself in an articulate, professional, and friendly manner
- good organisational skills and a self-starter attitude
- to be personable, with superb communication and presentation skills
- the ability to build strong relationships with our customers and our internal team
- a commercial understanding
- to enjoy working as part of a team and to take initiative whilst working independently
- to be flexible and possess excellent time-management skills
- experience of Salesforce is an advantage but not essential
- to be based in London or the home counties
This role is offered with a car allowance and the ability to drive is essential.
This role is offered on a permanent basis and our working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
