Junior interior designer
at Project London

Project London is looking for a junior interior designer to join our team in London.

We are an award-winning architectural, interior design and project management studio looking after high-end residential projects from concept to completion. We have some exceptional projects in our pipeline and are looking for the right candidate to join us at this exciting time.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, eager passionate about design and highly organised with at least one year professional design experience ideally in the high-end residential sector.

This is a full-time position based at our studio in Parsons Green. Applicants should be London-based within a reasonable commute.

We are looking for:

  • understand the interior design industry and have a good knowledge of finishes, details and suppliers

  • work well under pressure, with the ability to manage a large workload

Responsibilities:

  • assist designers throughout various project stages, from concept development to completion
  • report to senior designers
  • preparation of client presentation documentation and design packages
  • strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise across multiple projects
  • source, research and maintain relationships suppliers
  • sourcing and procurement of FF&E and soft furnishing samples and items
  • create detailed schedules, manage the coordination of procurement, delivery and installation
  • communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and the design team

Qualifications:

  • degree in interior design or architecture
  • minimum one year’s post-degree industry experience, ideally in high-end residential projects
  • ideally proficient in Vectorworks (2D), InDesign and Photoshop and Microsoft Office
  • excellent creative and communication skills are required to liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and architects
  • fluent in both written and spoken English
  • excellent client presentation skills
  • up-to-date knowledge of current building regulations and codes
