Quintessa Art is a luxury manufacturer of bespoke art. The company has been trading for over 30 years, supplying the interior design market with high quality, handmade, original art and 3D wall sculptures. Based in London, Quintessa ships artworks all around the world.

The company is seeking a proactive and highly organised studio manager to support its two joint managing directors and wider studio team. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role and would suit an energetic, self-motivated individual with superb attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, team management and numeracy skills are essential, as well as a passion for design and/or interiors. An ability to remain calm under pressure is a must.

The role is a wide ranging one which will include: 

  • general operational tasks, including administration of business activities and business premises including paperwork organisation
  • human resource responsibilities including new staff inductions, managing personnel records, annual leave, absence and assisting with the annual review timetables
  • supporting the accounting team
  • make purchases and payments on behalf of team where required
  • booking client showroom visits
  • answering the telephone, ensuring messages are recorded in an accurate and efficient manner
  • helping to generate client quotations in collaboration with the accounts team
  • client follow up for pre production approvals
  • checking design department visuals for accuracy, and informing them of client changes/updates
  • providing external clients with updates on production schedules, recording delivery addresses on client paperwork
  • ensure delivery and collection schedules are updated at the end of each day ready for the following day
  • ensure goods are shipped in a timely manner in line with the production schedule and client’s deadlines
  • coordinate with the in-house artists, technicians and framers to ensure jobs are in line with the production schedules – liaise with the company directors where necessary
  • production planning, ensuring smooth production, looking ahead and re prioritising according to changing workflow
  • procurement of supplier materials e.g. ordering framing supplies, mouldings, gold leaf, packaging materials, filing materials technical sheets
  • arrange staff socials including summer and Christmas party

Software skills:

  • knowledge of Microsoft business suite programmes
  • experience of using CRM

Required:

  • valid UK/EEA work permit
