Richard Miers Garden Design is hiring a landscape architect to join its team in London.
Richard Miers Garden Design is looking for a London-based, qualified landscape architect to join its thriving and exciting practice.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant, busy and supportive team and work on a variety of exciting projects both in and out of London.
Role and responsibilities:
- project and client management
- leading design projects from survey through to construction
- attending site meetings and following up in accordance
- producing 2D plans and 3D visuals using Sketchup/CAD or equivalent
- writing comprehensive schedules of works and specifications
Skills required:
- qualification in landscape architecture or equivalent professional experience working in a landscape design studio
- excellent knowledge of plants and landscaping materials
- excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- administrative skills
- proficient in Sketchup and Microsoft Office, CAD or equivalent
- ability to produce detailed designs and all associated drawings including sections and elevations
- committed, organised and willing to work across a range of projects simultaneously
- highly commercial
- a self-starter with an ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
- ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to multiple deadlines
- full, clean UK driving licence is required but not essential
- this role is a full-time salaried position for the right candidate
- the salary will be in line with experience
